Pour & Sip February 2024 Box

The shortest month of the year is here, but we've still got five new whiskies to pack in. February's Pour & Sip box is here to take you from smoky Scotch to spicy Swedish single malts, with a few delicious age statements to get your mouth watering.

Aberlour 14 Year Old Double Cask Matured: Matured for 14 years, first in bourbon and then oloroso sherry casks, you can see where this Aberlour gets its name. It’s a big, luxurious dram on the sweeter side.

Mackmyra Limousin:  Mackmyra partnered with Maison Ferrand, sourcing French Limousin oak Cognac casks to mature this whisky in alongside oloroso sherry casks, Swedish oak casks, and casks saturated with berry wine.

LAGG Corriecravie: Matured initially in bourbon barrels before a six-month finish in oloroso sherry hogsheads, the yeast and fermentation time were chosen to create a fuller, richer spirit in this release, with notes of sweet spices and rich fruit standing out. 

Ben Nevis 11 Year Old 2011 - Hepburn's Choice: This single malt was distilled at Ben Nevis in 2011, and entirely matured for 11 years in a single sherry butt. A total of 880 bottles were released for the Hepburn’s Choice series in 2023, without colouring or chill filtration.

Filliers 10 Year Old Single Malt - Sherry Oak Casks: This Belgian single malt spent its days exclusively in European oak sherry casks before being bottled at 43% ABV, and the sweet, rich, sherried whisky has scooped up multiple awards.
