Turntable Track 3: Purple Haze

New on the Scotch whisky scene is Turntable Spirits, founded by two brothers: Gordon and Ally Stevenson. With over 20 years of experience between them and some serious passion for whisky, Turntable focuses on quality spirit, excellent casks, and time.

Wood management is at the forefront of this blending venture, backed up by Ally’s blending experience from BenRiach Distillery Co. and GlenAllachie (taught by none other than master blender Billy Walker), while Gordon’s background has seen him work with the likes of Inver House and Douglas Laing & Co. This is Track 3: Purple Haze, a blended Scotch made up of 44% Balmenach drawn from a Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheon, 42% Craigellachie from an oloroso sherry butt, and 14% Invergordon grain from a sherry barrel.
