Teaninich 11 Year Old 2010 (cask 356846) - James Eadie (Master of Malt Exclusive)
You Save: £10.00
Found in the Highlands, Teaninich has a distinct distillery character made up of fresh grassiness, and a rich, oily texture thanks to its ball-shaped stills. This particular single malt from the distillery is a 2010 vintage single cask, which independent bottler James Eadie bottled up exclusively for Master of Malt!
Out of its 11 years of maturation, 16 months were spent in a first-fill ex-Amontillado sherry cask for a finishing period, before being bottled at cask strength. Just 321 bottles were released, with all the nutty, wood-forward flavours of the sherry making their way into this distinctive whisky.
Orange marmalade, toasted nuts, and cut grass, with freshly-baked bread in tow.
Espresso and nutmeg richness, alongside plump raisin, oily barley, and tropical fruit.
Chocolate-coated nuts and buttery oak.
