Storyman Blended Scotch Whisky

Celebrity whisky alert! Storyman is a collaboration between the brilliant Annandale Distillery and legendary Scottish actor James Cosmo, who you might recognise from a little-known show called Game of Thrones, or perhaps that somewhat successful film Trainspotting.

He worked with Annandale’s master blender and owner to create the Storyman blend, which features various vintages and spirit types from Annandale aged in a mixture of fresh and refill bourbon casks, and Burgundy STR (shaved, toasted, and re-charred) wine casks. Around 75% of the whisky is made up of Annandale malts while the rest is grain from an undisclosed source, and the final blend was personally selected by Cosmo himself. That fruity Lowland character shines through, with gentle peat smoke and a rich, fruity body from the wine casks.
