Product details

Let’s see out 2020 in style! While most celebrations may be off, we can still enjoy some superb whisky this New Year’s Eve. We’re squeezing one last live tasting into the year, and we’ve even crafted this special limited edition tasting set for the occasion. Join us to sip on these five wonderful whiskies before the year comes to a close – from sherried South African single malt to well-aged blended Scotch, it’s all about delicious variety.

The fun will all kick off at 7.30pm on 31 December, and you can tune in on Pour & Sip's YouTubeTwitter or Facebook page, or on the Master of Malt Instagram page. Join us for one last flavour-packed party!

Three Ships 6 Year Old (That Boutique-y Whisky Company): It’s the first independently bottle whisky from the James Sedgwick Distillery in South Africa! Finished in ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry butts, it’s all about juicy red fruit and chocolate in here.

Basil Hayden's Bourbon: Named after master distiller Basil Hayden Sr., known for his high-rye mashbill, it’s no surprise that this Kentucky bourbon has a good proportion of herbal, spicy rye among the sweeter fresh fruit and vanilla notes.

Dailuaine 16 Year Old - Flora and Fauna: Diageo’s Flora and Fauna series showcases single malts from lesser-known distilleries, just like this superb Dailuaine. Thanks to the influence of sherry casks, there’s lots of festive spices with a smidge of smoke.

Loch Lomond 18 Year Old: A gently smoky Highland Scotch single malt from Loch Lomond, which spent its entire life in American oak casks. A good helping of vegetal peat smoke runs throughout, supported by creamier vanilla notes from the cask.

The Perspective Series 21 Year Old - Berry Bros. & Rudd: The Perspective Series from Berry Bros. & Rudd brought together photography and whisky, and this is a well-aged 21-year-old blended Scotch from the series. Lots of creamy, orchard fruit-forward notes to enjoy here.
