Product details
Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery fired up its stills for the first time in May 2016, creating what would become Yorkshire’s first ever single malt whisky. Named Filey Bay after the stunning beach near the distillery, it’s produced from barley grown on the 600-acre family farm and even fermented, distilled, and aged on the site (which includes the Wold Top Brewery).
In October 2019 the first bottling of its Filey Bay single malt was presented to the world, and this is the core ongoing release of that same flagship whisky. It’s matured in bourbon casks which complement the distillery character of both orchard and stone fruits and baked goods beautifully for a light, creamy, and fresh single malt.
