Ardmore 9 Year Old - The Eagle Has Landed - Cask Noir (Brave New Spirits)

This independently bottled Ardmore is part of the new Cask Noir series from Brave New Spirits, launched in September 2023! Distilled at the end of 2013, the peated Highland whisky spent nine years in a first-fill Rivesaltes wine barrique before being bottled at cask strength.

The Cask Noir series takes classic distilleries and showcases the liquid in unusual casks (dominated by rare-to-come-by wine casks) with each label taking inspiration from vintage cinema posters, boasting its own ‘movie title’ referencing the distillery it came from – this one was dubbed  'The Eagle Has Landed'. Sweet, smoky, and decidedly different, this is Ardmore like you’ve never tasted before.
